Train Like an MMA Fighter to Look Like and MMA Fighter

Follow this simple weight loss tip for excellent results.  Train like your life depends on it.  In other words train like an MMA fighter.  These guys and girls are tough, they are conditioned, they are strong, and their careers depend on it.  Another byproduct of this high level training is that they look fabulous.  These individuals for the most part have the bodies that make the rest of us jealous.

Seems simple to me.  Train like these guys.  You don’t have to make your workouts this hard for life, they certainly don’t either.  They peak for fights then let their bodies recover, you should do the same.  They cut weight to make a weight class then put it back on, but they get really good at taking weight off at will.  I know many folks that wish they could do this.

The first component of an MMA workout is that it is highly athletic and physically demanding.  Workouts almost always consist of full body movements, followed by more full body movements, with more after that, plus core work, and finishing up with burst of high intensity cardio.  When you are finished with that do it all again.  The idea is to punish your body harder than any opponent you may face so that when you really do face that opponent your body can stand up to the challenge.

Consider joining a gym that has sparring, wrestling, or specialized MMA classes so that you can actually get in the ring, with head gear, and use adrenaline to fuel your workout.  This will beat any caffeinated sugary sports drink hands down and really give you an idea of the type of fitness that you should aspire to if you truly want to have a body worthy of an MMA fighter.

Consider shaping up at a boot camp.  These camps will usually be extremely rigorous, they will motivate you, one way or another, and they will no doubt put your fitness into high gear.  Some of these camps also have MMA sessions because they realize the benefit of an adrenaline fueled workout better than anyone else.

A side benefit of doing an MMA workout and actually stepping in the ring, even if it is just for fun, is that it can expand your potential and change your view.  The same way finishing a marathon makes you realize that you are capable of more than you ever thought possible, getting in the ring will make you realize that there is a whole level of fitness that you have not even approached.

Follow these simple weight loss tips for dramatic results and life changing experiences.
